5.0 out of 5 stars Beautiful! A great gift!, August 17, 1999
By A Customer
My son and I were recently in a museum store and spotted this. We were attracted by the great artwork, but when we got it home we were also thrilled to find it so well-written and informative. Now my son wants to give them as Christmas presents -- very classy!

5.0 out of 5 stars These are very cool! Students of ancient Greece love them., January 28, 1999
By A Customer
As a 6th grade teacher who teaches Greek mythology, I found these were very useful in providing the background information on the Greek gods. They also have some really neat artwork.

4.0 out of 5 stars Struggling readers attracted to fan format, July 3, 2007
I teach a lot of students who would rather do anything than read. From their point of view, the fan format is unthreatening, unintimidating, and welcoming. They address kinesthetic, audio, and visual learning domains. As there's not a lot of room for text, the well-chosen artwork conveys a lot of information. I have seen my students pick these up and fall into conversation about various items of interest in these cards. They develop favorites! That's the most exciting thing for me to see. To hear my students comparing notes and finding something to be interested in is so gratifying.
