4.0 out of 5 stars A taste of France, November 18, 1999
By A Customer
For once, I actually looked forward to changing the calendar at month's end. The 1999 edition featured one or more large images on the upper page and a thumbnail photo for each day on the lower. Taking off one star for the tiny type and detail-sparce captions.

4.0 out of 5 stars Me again, October 22, 2000
By Sheri Richardson (Formerly San Jose, CA US, now in the Wilds of OR US) - See all my reviews
Yes, I'm back, reviewing the 2000 calendar. All I said for 1999 holds true...including the tiny captions, but I got glasses for these old eyes so it wasn't such a bother in 2000. This remains one of the best all-around wall calendars. Loads of pictures to distract the eye and room enough to jot down the odd doctor's appointment. Holidays span the English-speaking world and we Yanks can drool over all those UK & Scotlandish bank holidays. Spotted Canadian and Australian days off. The major Hebrew holy days are noted as well. No moon phases, but just about everything else is in there.
