From School Library Journal
Grade 3-5?Twenty-nine craft projects with autumn themes, including a school bus picture frame, a fall tree lapel pin, a soft sculpture pumpkin, a leaf-print banner, and a tree puppet that changes color. Two projects can also be used for Jewish holidays. Some of the activities are easy, but others may take several tries before catching on to the techniques or getting the right effect. A few of the crafts, specifically the Columbus Day and Thanksgiving party hats, are attractive and can be done by younger children if the materials are precut. The full-color drawings are clear, helpful, cheerful, and encouraging. This is a creative book that will be used by children, especially those with a natural flair for crafts. Teachers and scout leaders will also appreciate it.?Marcia W. Posner, Holocaust Memorial and Educational Center of Nassau County, Glen Cove,
