Need a quick, easy, all-in-one strategy guide for your favorite Game Boy titles? You can't do much better than Prima's Game Boy Game Secrets. In the 1999 edition of this book, you'll get a quick but thorough breakdown of 12 different Game Boy titles, including The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, Donkey Kong Land 2 and 3, and some game called Pokémon, which we understand is mildly popular at the moment. In each case, you'll get a streamlined guide to the game, complete with screen images to help point out key locations and events. Where appropriate, you'll learn about secret areas and cheats (getting 47 Kremkoins in Donkey Kong Land 2, for example). If it's depth you're looking for in a strategy guide, you won't find it here. However, if you need a single, handy reference to take along on trips with your new Game Boy Color or if you're giving one of those nifty devices as a gift and want to include a little something extra, this book is the perfect solution. --Mike Ryan
