This guide misses some of the most interesting places to stay and completely skips the best restaurants, I think. Also, I wanted to know how to get to the ferry for Isla Mujeres from Puerto Morelos. There is only transportation information from the tourist area in Cancun or the airport.

This was the only travel book we read and took with us to the Yucatan two years ago and it did us a fine job. Helped us have a great vacation in 2006 while we were there. We went all over the place while we were there and this book did a great job so we knew what to expect. Even now or a few years later this book would still serve you well if you wanted to save some money by buying a cheep used copy.
