Truly a masterpiece!, March 8, 2006
This is another one of the numerous books that I have read concerning the ancient history of the Bible. Indeed, this was perhaps the best book I have EVER read. This book has great documentation of the authors resources, and very well put together in an understandable form.
After reading this book, you will never again allow someone to tell you that the Bible patriarchs, more specifically Cain was simply a "myth" or a "fable". The evidence compiled in this short, but well documented work presents the reader with almost no possibly way to deny the facts that Cain was in fact a real person who is not only documented as having existed in the Bible, but also in the ancient Babylonian inscriptions and historical writings of ancient Mesopotamia.
If you ever wish to understand where Mythology first began, who the first true ruling king of the world may have been, and more importantly, if you ever wish to understand WHY Cain's presence in the Bible is so important, and why we are to understand the acts and deeds of his children, the Kenites (Ben Qayin the Sons of Cain), and if you wish to trace their early origins, then you definately want to read this book. I recommend it to anyone who is willing to increase their knowledge in the Bible and in history.
Word of advice I feel is sufficient. It would probably be a good idea to continue your research after reading this book. You will find that this book will give you the basic understanding you need to search mythology, and locate the truth of all myths. One such place to start looking is in Alexander Hislops, "The Two Babylons". Just as how Hislop put together all of his documentary to show to you that Nimrod was the originater of much mythology, so Mrs. Bristowe will put together similar documentation to prove to you that Cain was the true founder of world mythology.

One of the best books available today., April 11, 2004

Great Book! Although the book is rather short, it is still very descriptive. In this book, Mrs. Bristowe presents a great deal of evidence to support her conclusion that Sargon the Magnificent was indeed the muderous Cain from Genesis. Before reading this book, I was a bit skeptical. However, after reading her book, I have to agree with most of her conclusions. One of the best things I liked about this book was how she didnt just say "other historians" as her form of reference. She would quote from the writings of other historians, give the name(s) of the authors, give the name of the book she gets her information from, and even goes as far as giving you the page number of that book in which she quotes from.If you have ever wondered where mythology arose, who was the first great king of this world, and wish to know more about Cain's history, I feel this book is for you. Im a studying Christian who's been studying the Bible, mythology, and history for quite sometime but this book so far has been one of the best I've read.

A must-have for the Christian's library!, December 4, 2008
This book is a wonderful insight into the possibility that historically accepted Sargon of Babylon was in reality Cain of Genesis under another name.
The implications of this are astounding, considering the critical reception the Bible receives in modern culture.
We read the Lord created mankind (hunters/gathers) on the sixth day and it was good. But still nobody to till the soil(farm). So presumably some great deal later (eighth day) Adam and Eve were created.
It is some of this former creation that Cain sets-up residence after his expulsion and builds his societies of religion, education, economy, science, politics, architecture, and art.
They say knowledge is power. If so, then Cain imbuded with thousands of years worth of knowledge from the serpent would amass powerful influences unrivaled on the earth.
One can only imagine though, the hatred and vitriol against the Lord that would be expressed in the products of his labors. His children (Cainites) to this day carry-on his work although with considerably more subterfuge.
Is it any wonder then why today's Christian feels like they are being attacked from all sides.
You will never look at a comparative religion class in the same way again, as you will now be able to see the counterfeit doctrines exposed for what they are.
However, no matter what your family, race or background is, with Christ, you can be a new creature accepted by Him.
