Patriotic Calendar Benefits the Uniformed Firefighters Association Widow's and Children's Fund
As communities, companies, families and individuals struggle to heal from the tragic wounds of September 11, Cedco Publishing is trying to do its small part to help by doing what it does best - publish calendars. This new publication, God Bless America, is a 12 month wall calendar that features inspiring, heart-warming images of the American flag. One dollar from the sale of each calendar will go to the Uniformed Firefighters Association Widow's and Children's Fund.
The images found in God Bless America, some familiar and some not, will speak directly to the hearts of all Americans. From the Washington Memorial to a sunny porch in Anytown, USA; from the lunar landing to the shoulders of a young boy, old glory evokes the strength and freedom that this country was founded upon.
The Uniformed Firefighters Association Widow's and Children's Fund will be given one dollar from the sale of each calendar. The fund's express purpose is "to assist our widows, who are experiencing financial hardship, to lend a helping hand in providing health and welfare benefits, and to assist in the educational facilities for our dependant children." Never before have the New York City firefighters experienced loss like on September 11. The money donated from the sale of God Bless America calendars is much needed assistance.
