This book is basically a fresh and inspirational revelation of well-known truths from God's Word.

The author takes key principles from the Bible and expounds upon them in light of the "Gospel of the Kingdom," and effectively pulls together the big picture of God's plan for His creation and His children.

The single most important message presented in this work is that we Christians have diffused much of our focus and energy on individual elements of the Gospel, yet have seemingly missed the bigger point--God created a kingdom over which mankind was designed to have dominion and rule according to Divine will, which was to be communicated through an intimate and loving relationship via the Holy Spirit. Of course, the Kingdom was lost to man because of the fall, whereupon man forfeited all dominion and became subservient to the very things over which he had been designed to rule. The Gospel of the Kingdom, then, is the good news that the Kingdom has been restored to man through the redemptive work of Jesus. In Jesus, mankind can be reborn as a child of God, cleansed of sin in order to receive the indwelling Holy Spirit, and then be taught, guided, and empowered to have the dominion necessary to re-take what was lost to the enemy. Ultimately, God's children inherit the kingdom, and Jesus then becomes King of Kings.

The content is exciting. The Scriptural interpretation, in my estimation, is sound. The only element I found a bit lacking is the author's organization of the material. The development of content and presentation should have received the attention required to yield the captivating spiritual experience that this message deserves.

In all, however, this book is a must-read for twenty-first century Christians; it will light a new fire in each believer and assist the committed Christian in fulfilling his/her calling to be salt and light.

I had been praying that the Holy Spirit would expand my understanding of the Bible and the saving-grace message. Through three distinct instances, I was led to this book.
The author writes clearly and directly so that one can follow the Bible and learn from Dr. Munroe's knowledge of the Kingdom to come.
We often give only the first part in our delivery of the soul saving message of the Word of God to others. This book will be a great aid in expanding one's understanding of the Bible, so that the whole message of the Kingdom of God can be included.

this book lived up to my expectations. and beyond. the material was easy to understand and the intent plainly stated. a help in Christian growth. the Author shared his own experiences and truth based. no exagerations but inspiring and with the ability to cause provacative thought in the reader. thourouly attention keeping as a study book and for personal enjoyment. thank you. Dr. Munroe is a captivating teacher whose teaching 'remains' after the book has been read. makes me sure to read it again. sincerely, Betty Matthews Texas
