Kim Hurst has been leading or training Vacations With a Purpose teams which have traveled to more than dozen countries since 1986. She did her graduate studies at Fuller Theological Seminary and currently lives in Colorado with her husband and two daughters. Kim is also the director of World Tracks, a national training organization for short-term missions.

Kim's interest in other cultures was stimulated by a period of travel as a member of Up With People. She has led numerous short-term mission teams and is currently Director of Missions at Crystal Cathedral, and is finishing her master's degree in cross-cultural studies at Fuller Theological Seminary. Kim and her husband, Rich, have two children.

Chris Eaton is president of Bridge Builders, Inc., a consulting group that assists churches in developing short-term mission teams and programs. Formerly, he was the executive director of Single Purpose Ministries, a decade-old, interdenominational singles ministry in Florida. Over the past eight years he has facilitated numerous teams involving several hundred adults. Chris is also a frequent speaker around the United States.

During his tenure with Single Purpose, Chris began developing curriculum to assist short-term teams. Over the past eight years he has facilitated numerous teams involving several hundred adults. He is also a frequent speaker at singles groups around the United States.

Don't leave home without it! Make a difference in your world, but do it right the first time. Eaton and Hurst use their experience to guide the reader through every aspect of a vacation with a purpose to a developing world.
