The images are displayed in the axial, coronal, and sagittal planes, enabling readers to thoroughly familiarize themselves with sagittal and coronal anatomy as it applies to routine MRI practice. Anatomic features are labeled on each image using numbers with legends at the top of the page, and each image is accompanied by a line drawing demonstrating the level and plane of section.
