5.0 out of 5 stars GREAT BOOK - I passed the first time, February 25, 2000
I recommend this book I used it along with the Exam Cram book the two complete each other. You might be able to pass with this book alone but why waste the 100 dollars if you don't. The goal of any test should be to pass on the first try. This book and the exam cram ISBN # 1-57610-193-2 will help you meet that goal. I recommend this book and give it the 5 star seal of approval. I passed this test on the first try with an 833 and I am a MCP. As with most of these study guides it helps to use more than one.

4.0 out of 5 stars Need more to pass, April 10, 2000
By A Customer
This is a good book to give you a strong foundation of 4.0 to build upon in order to pass the test. I would not rely on it alone. There were areas of the test that the book did not cover. The test had a question on NT and Unix, never got into Unix.

1.0 out of 5 stars Overbearing And Obtrusive Paperweight, June 25, 1999
By A Customer
This book is patently and blatantly boring; saturated with information that is forever flying off onto unrelated tangents, it is difficult to see the Forest for the Trees with Perkins material. One classic example of being left hanging in the Twillight Zone is wherein Perkins informs you that with a Mirrored Set you need a boot disk tailored to same in the event of a failure...yet nowhere within that book will you find the information telling you how to create that modified diskette. Do some research and spend your money on something that you will use, and can be of use to you.

Absolutely and positively not worth your time.

4.0 out of 5 stars This book should get you past this exam.
I used this book to pass exam 70-073. I feel it had all the data needed to pass. I also used the exam notes from Sybex. This book I wouldn't try an exam without. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Not perfect, but I found it helpful.

3.0 out of 5 stars Buy it, but you still need more.
To pass this exam, no one study guide will do it. This is a good start. Supplement this study guide with ExamCram and you should be all set.

3.0 out of 5 stars Cheap.
Ok, passed the exam first time, no sweat. Used this book and a pile of braindumps. I've already passed the Server exam, a lot of the info in the workstation book is a rehash of... Read more

This book is unreadable. It is no better than something straight from Microsoft, like it was written by the IRS. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Without it, I would not have passed the exam!
Of the three books read in my preparation for the Workstation exam, this one, by far, dealt with topics that were covered on my exam. It was thorough and accurate.
