A Must-have for Hitchcock Fans!, January 3, 2000
This Collector's Edition it's just great. It has 13 of the best movies from Hitchcock. (Saboteur, Rope, Shadow of a Doubt, The Trouble with Harry, Psycho, Vertigo, The Man Who Knew Too Much, Marnie, The Birds, Torn Curtain, Frenzy, Topaz and Family Plot.) When I opened the package I red that all the titles were remastered and I begun to watch the movies. Its just incredible. Every title comes in a special collectior package. It also brings the theatrical trailers of each film and you can see them before the movie begins (except "The Trouble With Harry"). "Topaz" brings bonus footage. "Vertigo" was very well remastered (The audio and picture were great). All the video cassettes with its package come in a special commemorative case. Don't wait get it now.

Only showcases some of Hitchcock's best work, July 28, 2000
I actually rate this 3 1/2 stars but that was not an option. Anyway...The packaging, remastering, and inclusions of the theatrical trailers were all great, granted, but this is not all of Hitchcock's best work. Alfred Hitchcock is my favorite director, and I was shocked to see all the great movies that were omitted (REAR WINDOW, NORTH BY NORTHWEST, THE 39 STEPS, NOTORIOUS, STRANGERS ON A TRAIN, REBECCA, and THE LADY VANISHES) that are much better than many of these mostly mediocre movies (TORN CURTAIN, TOPAZ, THE TROUBLE WITH HARRY, THE MAN WHO KNEW TOO MUCH, and ROPE). However, this collection does include 4 of my top 6 Hitchcock movies: PSYCHO, VERTIGO, SHADOW OF A DOUBT, and THE BIRDS. I suggest you avoid this collection, and get the quartet I just listed and the 7 other classics I previously mentioned separately. You will be much more satisfied with them than if you bought this collection, trust me.

Greatest Director on Earth, August 6, 2001
By A Customer
Alfred Hitchcock is the best director the world has ever seen. This collection is a must have for any movie lover. All 13 movies will be a blessing to any movie collecters collection. I also beleive that Rear Window should have been put in, but with or without it this is the best movie collection anyone can buy.
