From School Library Journal
PreS Familiar objects and activities are identified in a family setting as a little girl experiences the first snowfall of winter. The Rockwells' single - and double - page watercolors in bright pas tels are crisp and appealing. The format is similar to that used in the authors ' earlier books. The text, however, is somewhat choppy and lacks the flow of Keats' classic Snowy Day (Viking, 1962). Preschoolers will nevertheless identify with this common event and will enjoy the clear uncluttered pictures which are large enough to be used for story hours.
