Product Description

Charming illustrations and playful rhythmic verse make real-life learning fun by taking babies and toddlers on an adventurous discovery of water and its many sources. Squeezable and floatable, Water, Water, Everywhere can be enjoyed in and out of the tub.

About the Author

Julie Aigner-Clark founded The Baby Einstein Company in 1997. Her goal was to provide fun, interactive ways to expose her own babies to the arts and humanities, subjects that were important to her as a former English teacher. Julie's first two videos, Baby Einstein and Baby Mozart, were filmed in her basement using borrowed equipment and edited on a home computer. Five years, ten videos and 30 children's books later, Julie sold Baby Einstein to The Walt Disney Company. In 2001, the year of acquisition, the company's sales exceeded $20 million and Baby Einstein-branded products could be found at specialty and mass retailers nationwide. Baby Einstein videos received accolades for giving infants and toddlers a way to experience joy and laughter through classical music, poetry, nature and art. As reported in The New York Times on October 28, 2003, 32 percent of all new babies born in the United States own Baby Einstein videos. Prior to the sale to Disney, Julie and the story of Baby Einstein were covered extensively by the national media, including appearances by Julie on The Oprah Winfrey Show, Entertainment Tonight, Live! With Regis and Kelly, The View and The John Walsh Show , and feature articles in USA Today, The New York Times, The Washington Post, The Wall Street Journal, Los Angeles Times, Time Magazine, People Magazine, Redbook, Elle, Entrepreneur, Parenting Magazine, Child Magazine, Baby Talk and Working Mother. Julie also is the recipient of Ernst & Young's "Entrepreneur of the Year Award," as well as Working Mother's "Entrepreneur of the Year Award" in three categories - Most Philanthropic Company, Most Innovative Business and Best Small Company. In 2003, she received The Distinguished Alumni Award from The College of Arts and Letters of Michigan State University. In the citation, she was credited with starting a billion-dollar media industry centered on stimulating the minds of infants and toddlers. Julie's new venture is a return to familiar territory - creating and incubating new brands. Aigner Clark Creative combines her love of the creative process with her commitment to charitable-giving. --This text refers to an out of print or unavailable edition of this title.

1.0 out of 5 stars PVC IS HIGHLY TOXIC AND EVEN FORBIDDEN FOR TOYS IN EUROPE, July 10, 2009
Hi,
I'm originally from Germany... so sorry for my English.
I bought this book in the USA a few weeks ago for my little daughter and after I opened the package I realized the extreme smell. After one week on the balcony and several washes in our sink i`ve looked up the materials and WAS SHOCKED!!!
I found out that it`s a forbidden material for any toys in Europe!
The vinylchloride that smells like plastic has an extremely high potential to create cancer like lung cancer. The more you can smell it - the more toxicc it is!! It destroys the kidneys and the liver and is dangerous for your fertility!!
Especially the phthalates that make the hard PVC soft can be inhaled and penetrates the skin. Babys that chew on it or just touch it and play with it have a high blood level of PVC remains, that you can measure for a long time.
Be careful!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Water Fun, February 5, 2005
By A. Hunter "Mother of 1" (Sacramento, CA USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
My 6 mo old loves the book. He plays w/it in the tub every time he is getting a bath. The poem is very pleasant & the illustrations are informative, bright & colorful. Great find for the chewing babies & their rough/grabby little hands.

4.0 out of 5 stars Best chew toy ever, August 8, 2007
By K. Miller "Twin Mamacita" (Philadelphia, PA USA) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
I am a mama of 8 month old twins, and they love eating this book! On occasion we have been able to get through actually reading it, but for the most part it is in one or both of their mouths by the last page. All in all, I'd say its a hit. Maybe once they get past teething, we can actually read it to them.
