Product Description
Lizzie McGuire always tries to stay out of Kate Sanders's way. Ever since Kate made cheerleader, she has become the most popular girl in school. And she's turned into a major she-beast -- the kind that likes to hunt defenseless Lizzies. Yikes! But when Kate injures her ankle in cheerleading practice, the other girls kick her off the squad. Suddenly, Kate isn't so popular anymore. Lizzie wants to he;p her old friend...but Kate still won't give her the time of day. Can Lizzie get Kate to admit that - for once - she actually needs Lizzie's help?

A Kid's Review
Have you ever thought what is like being a popular cheerleader girl at school? And when you break a shoulder your friend doesn't consider you as popular anymore? Well, if you read The Rise and Fall of Kate Empire by Kirsten Larsen, you will read about Kate who is always mean to Lizzie Mc.Guire, but then Kate needs Lizzie's help because Kate wants to be popular again. Will Lizzie help her? Read the book, and find out! The theme is, help people that are not nice to you so they can see that even though they were not nice to, you helped them. This book is really good and it will teach a lot of lessons.

4.0 out of 5 stars Really Good Book, February 22, 2003
By A Customer
I really liked this book because they are both very good episodes. Lizzie McGuire is my most favorite show that I have came across. In this book I found only a few flaws but other than that it was great. I found myself saying the phrases with the characters. It was word for word.
The first story is about Kate breaking her arm and losing her friends with it. Lizzie helps her out and I will let you find out if Kate getts her friends and followers back.
The second story was about Kate's birthday party. No one is allowed to go to Kate's 15th ( even though she says she is only 14)birthday party. Lizzie, Miranda, and Gordo all sneak out to the party anyway. When they get there it has turned into a collage party. Lizzie tries to help Kate take control of the party. Will she succeed?

A Kid's Review
I liked this book because it showed the difference between two types of people. Kate and Lizzie used to be best friends. But now, they are fighting.

These books are really easy to read. I can get thru one very quickly and then read another.
