I last blogged in Sept. '06, mentioning primarily that Weird Tales had bought my story "She Sent Her Arms Skyward to Comfort the Child," and my story "Zombie Love" had been picked up by the anthology Until Somebody Loses an Eye. To give you an idea of how slowly the publishing world can move, neither are out, yet.

However, I did see the release of Tales From the Red Lion (Chicago), a book I published for Twilight Tales, (John Weagly & Andrea Dubnick eds) and Book of Dead Things, which I edited and published for Twilight Tales. They're full of wonderful stories.

I've just retired from Twilight Tales after 14 years, having in the past year given up the duties as CEO, chairman of the board, senior editor, and publisher. A wonderful new group of volunteers is taking over, and the live weekly show in Chicago, the book line, and the author development seminars are still going strong. You can check out all the things they're up to at Twilight Tales.
