Not a day goes by that I don't pick up this book! An excellent collection of concise 20th century fashion designer's biographies. Interesting and acurate information arranged in alphabetical order. The information is so good that you forgive the book for not having photographs. Most of our students use the book for research on their favorite designers but, this book is also just a great read.

If you deal in women's fashion, this is a necessary reference book. (Hint: It's so important, when I lost mine, I came right here to buy another!) The information on 20th century fashion leaders is especially necessary for antique dealers, vintage clothing shops, and of course womenswear consignment shops.
