5.0 out of 5 stars I Laughed and Cried, July 1, 2000
By A Customer
I loved the stories and poems in Experiencing Infertility. Some made me laugh, especially the pregnant after infertility diary. Others made me cry. I was especially touched by the two stories of people who dealt with infertility after cancer treatment. I was also deeply moved by the final essay in the book, Enduring Losses. Although I have mentioned some of my favorite essays, I really enjoyed all of them. The book was compelling, compassionate and comprehensive. I encourage anyone going through infertility--or pregnancy after infertility--to read it!

5.0 out of 5 stars Great comfort amidst the pain, February 8, 1999
By A Customer
Experiencing Infertility: Personal Accounts to Inform and Inspire will provide great comfort for anyone touched by the challenges of infertility. This diverse and thoughtful collection of personal essays helps convey to the reader that they are not alone. In fact, thousands of others are confronting this deep personal pain, often sharing the same difficult emotions and challenges. Recently, the rapid development of scientific advances in the area of infertility have propelled this important issue to the top of our national agenda. Unfortunately, the personal ramifications had not been adequately addressed. Thank you, Ellen Sarasohn Glazer, for providing this helpful look at the emotional, religious and psychological challenges currently confronted by those battling infertility.
