Editorial Reviews

Product Description
A System for handicapping horse racing. The story is set at racetracks with characters trying various methods. They zig and zag their way until they find a workable System. The first part can be used at any track with little knowledge. It expands to challenge the most experienced handicapper and includes tutorials about Never Beaten Winners, Age Before Beauty, Five-year-old Geldings and much more useful information and data.

From the Author
As horseplayers come in all sizes and shapes, I want this book to provide useful handicapping data for more than one select group. For those who have only the desire to learn, I revived my fictional newsletter character, Jay Morgan, and sent him in search of a System. The basic System expands to cover an infinite number of Indirect Influences, sufficient to challenge even the professional handicapper. It's profitability is limited only to the extent it is not used.

3.0 out of 5 stars Some very interesting ideas, February 23, 1999
By A Customer
I am a thoroughbred racing fan and the owner of many handicapping books. Although many of these books contain valuable material, others have been just a waste of money. When I first started to read this book, I thought it fell into the latter category, but the more I read, the more interesting it became. Although not all the ideas in this book are easily attainable, there are still many that can be added to a persons handicapping arsenal. The discussions about the morning line, jockey and trainer are the best I've seen. I think this book is worth the money.
