Beth Uyehara takes the mystery out of the possibility of an awesome search for your family relatives... and treats you with pleasant honesty, and them with fun and respect. Her humor is charming and very useful for the novice that is just breaking into the thought of 'just who were all those strange people, before me, how did they live, impact my family... family secrets, the 'how-to's of the search... many reference sites and addresses, her wide knowledge of her own adventures. You will enjoy this as well as the charming illustrations that introduce each chapter and give the book a personality and flavor. I was very happy to do the illustrations and it was such fun to design the book! Give it a try, at least you will be amused as well as informed in a very pleasant way!
