5.0 out of 5 stars A superb tribute to a fascinating country!, March 30, 1998
The photos and text paint a beautiful and picturesque tribute to this isolated and historic area.

It visually took me back to my three wonderful years among the gentle people and remote countryside!

A must have addition to any true lover of this faraway land of the pagodas.

I bought this book because I'm planning a trip to Myanmar.
The contains have not dissapointed me at all, it looks like a beautiful country, one I definately want to visit.

The pictures are beautiful and the text is good enough. A very good purchase indeed. I highly recommend it to anyone interested in this amazing country.
