This book challenges conventional norms of classroom design such as the centuries-old tradition of teachers lecturing to passively engaged students, having total control over their students' learning. Instead, the contributing authors suggest approaches toward a more student-centered classroom design. I would recommend this book because it corraborates the experiences and feelings of teachers regarding classroom design and is informative and practical in its approach. It offers fresh insights especially for teachers who are looking for the most efficient way to use computer technology for writing instruction.
