Product Description

Michael Reagan’s life is much more than just an interesting story. It is a testimony of how Christ allowed him to find healing from many of the issues that confront our culture today, such as sexual abuse, divorce, loneliness, the feeling of rejection, and the belief that God does not care about us. Michael Reagan’s first adoption gave him an identity, but he did not find his true identity until he found Christ.

In this book, Mike Reagan shows how others can meet a God who loves them, and who wants to embrace them and bring them healing, salvation, and meaning to life.

From AudioFile

This book, narrated mostly by Chris Fabry, is part biography and part Michael Reagan on political and social issues. Fabry's reading is clear, even-paced, and sympathetic to the text. He clearly communicates Reagan's conversational tone and conveys the exhortatory nature of the book. Reagan reads some portions of his text, and he is a skilled communicator, as well. Moreover, the production includes Reagan's moving eulogy at his father's funeral. The book is not only biographical, but also puts forth the author's thoughts on issues. For example, in discussing his parents' divorce, he offers a discussion of the impact of changes in divorce laws and what reforms could be offered. 5.0 out of 5 stars ~All things work together for the good..., October 30, 2004
Great heart wrenching story of the pain and trials Michael faced growing with the shame of molestation hanging over his head and weighing down his heart. Great story of redemption and where he found his peace, strength, his ability to forgive and Who changed his life from misery to joy. Don't miss this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars FINDING THE KEY TO SURVIVAL, November 23, 2004
By Dorothy Weiss (ORLANDO, FLORIDA United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Michael Reagan has opened his life and the horrendous experiences he endured enroute to adulthood, respect and prominence. His was a tragic "journey." Yet every painful moment was a catalyst for his ultimate discovery; that is, the power of love. Well written. Inspirational.

5.0 out of 5 stars So Touching, October 2, 2004
I picked up this book in the bookstore today and read halfway through it while I stood there. I was so touched by Michael's story, for I could relate to so many of the emotions he felt as a child. I also appreciate the fact that he made positive suggestions about ways to help children who have faced the same sensitive issues that he has faced. The book is well written, and I higly recommend it to hurting people, as a means of better understanding, that they are not alone and to others who need to know how to commiserate with people about issues, that they have never faced.
