Product Description
Having spent thirty-one years as a police officer in Newark, New Jersey, Richard L. Allen has seen the world in a different way than most people do. Now, with sly word play and rhythmic verse, he shares some of his stories of the criminal justice system and those who bravely face the lawbreakers every day in A New Ark Police Officers View of Poetic Just Ice/Justice.
Through his original poetry youll get a close-up view of the court system, his fellow officers, and the law-abiding and law-breaking citizens he encountered on a daily basis, as well as a glimpse into his childhood and his deep faith in the Almighty.
Through it all, despite the horrors he has witnessed and regrets about the one or two who got away, his sense of humor comes shining through as he poetically plays on words with justified pride about his accomplishments in A New Ark Police Officers View of Poetic Just Ice/Justice.
