Editorial Reviews

Product Description
In The Stone, author David P. Welden presents evidence to prove the existence of ancient astronauts, known as the Anunnaki, who created Homo sapiens. The book details how the modern species of humans was formed via genetic manipulations between Homo erectus and the Anunnaki.

The author reveals firsthand accounts of people who have been aboard alien ships. He also provides a detailed timeline of the chronology of Earth from 450,000 B.C. to 2023 B.C. Welden goes on to explain the genetics behind it all, including a discussion of mitochondrial DNA and the role of the Y chromosome.

At the end of the book, Welden offers his own conclusions based on years of study and empirical evidence.

About the Author

5.0 out of 5 stars The Stone, April 10, 2009
This review is from: The Stone (Paperback)
David P. Welden's The Stone, is the work of a man whose great passion is UFOs. It is the result of seven exploratory trips with the author Zecharia Sitchin (whose key ideas are based on the assumption that ancient myths are not myths but historical and scientific texts), and of years of studies.

Are we alone in the Universe? Were we created by chance or by a god? Who we are, and where we come from have been mankind's greatest unanswered questions. In The Stone, David P. Welden proposes his own vision of those answers to the reader. Welden's answers, supported by a large collection of evidence, explains how Homo sapiens where created by ancient astronauts, known as the Anunnaki (those who from Heaven to Earth came).

The Stone is a well structured work. The author first gives accounts by the very people who have been in contact with aliens as well as people who have been aboard alien ships. Almost three-quarters of the book contain testimony, straight from the horse's mouth--the witness. With very accurate details such as names, dates, places and even historical facts; The Stone is a true delight for any lover of eerie stories.

In addition to testimony, two other sections of The Stone provide a detailed chronology of Earth's inhabitants from 450,000 B.C. to 2023 B.C. as well as an explanation on how genetic manipulations between Homo erectus and the Anunnaki formed the modern species of humans. Not only is the topic fascinating but also David Welden's writing style is vivid and smooth. Welden grabs the reader's attention by heckling and by asking questions. Readers will just drink his beyond-belief-approach of the topic. Finally Welden concludes his work by confiding in the reader with his private thoughts based on years of study and empirical evidence, in a natural and comical way. This offers a fresh dimension to the fascinating subject he is dealing with.
