Editorial Reviews

From Library Journal
This revised edition boasts that it contains biographical entries on every player ever activated by the Cowboys. In addition, there are entries on head coaches, owners, and other people prominent in the Cowboys' organization. The few subject entries range from an explanation of how the Cowboys came to be called "America's Team" to a short entry on the Zero Club. Probably the most important entry is the description of the replacement games played by substitute players during the 1987 football strike. The appendix contains a variety of tables, lists, and chronologies sure to warm the hearts of trivia buffs. Donovan is coauthor of The Notre Dame Football Encyclopedia. A good choice for large public libraries and essential for most Texas public libraries.ATerry Jo Madden, Boise State Univ. Lib., ID

5.0 out of 5 stars A *MUST* for every true Dallas Cowboy fan, February 13, 1997
By A Customer
This book is the definitive source for information about the men that have wore the silver and blue. It discusses every player who has been on the Cowboy's active roster from the very beginning. This book will bring back lots of memories for long-time Cowboy fans and will be a godsend for recent "Bandwagon Jumpers"
