The author assists the reader in gaining a sensitive perspective as to how children experience grief at different developmental levels. Practical examples and down-to-earth suggestions are made to facilitate the grief process for children.

When the topic of death comes into the conversation with children, it is very helpful to have thought about what I want to say beforehand. This book gave me the opportunity to be more prepared to answer my grandchildrens' questions about death in a relaxed and confident manner.

A very sound set of guidelines to refer to when a child has lost a loved one through death. Written at a level that is easy to understand and still covers the topic in adequate depth for any professional. Recommended reading!
