From School Library Journal
Grade 4-6?A collection of around 100 simple chemistry demonstrations using household materials. Most take only a few minutes to perform; procedures are straightforward and include appropriate safety precautions. In one form or another, these experiments have appeared in other books and cover familiar chemical topics such as states of matter, acids and bases, and solubility. Explanations are brief and, because the author is occasionally careless with terminology, are not always technically correct or clear. Illustrations consist primarily of decorative black-ink drawings. Not a necessary purchase.?Alan Newman, American Chemical Society, Washington, DC
