5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderful "how to" guide to massage., February 23, 1999
By A Customer
I love this book and refer to it often on how to give a wonderful massage; even the first time you try. It even has a whole section on how to do "self" massage - something not too many authors would even think about. I highly recommend this book to beginners and experienced masseuses. There is no nudity in the photographs, so this book can even be kept on your coffee table.

5.0 out of 5 stars If get one massage book, get this one, January 2, 2000

I bought several massage books, and this one was the best by far. Easy to read, with intelligently done photos to assist you. This is not a 'dry' book. This book is wonderful

5.0 out of 5 stars A very good "how-to" book., October 6, 1997
By A Customer
If you've ever wanted to learn massage, this is the book for you. Fiona Harrold explains preparation through completion (grounding) in an easy to follow style, with plenty of photos to assist the reader. There is information on how to handle common ailments, which essential oils to use for specific ailments, when massage is not advisable, and self-massage, along with a useful appendix for further reading.

4.0 out of 5 stars Informative and relatively easy to follow
I found this book to be informative and relatively easy to follow, even before I started attending massage therapy classes. Read more

2.0 out of 5 stars Competent but pretty dry
A somewhat stingy "complete body massage" due to the author's painstaking avoidance of anything remotely sensual. Massage without much real feeling.
