Best to start out by admitting that this book is only going to appeal to a narrow audience. That said, it's beautifully written, comprehensible and convincing. Shakespeare is the greatest poet of the English language; and there's no better poet through whom to understand how grammar and syntax could be subtly and not so subtly manipulated for poetic and dramatic meaning. This is the book to read.

I'm glad to own it and sorry to see that it's so hard to come by.
