5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely good, September 5, 1999
By A Customer
I liked this book a lot, and it helped me win a few thousand dollars.(I'll probably lose it all back though). This is the best book I've read on baccarat. Some of it is a bit technical, but this is better than all the other books on baccarat which don't really say anything except bet on streaks and don't bet too much. I never thought of betting on ties before but May explains that while its usually a sucker bet, sometimes it can be very good value, like say when you have a lot of tens or a lot of even cards left.

5.0 out of 5 stars Thorough insight to the the game of Baccarat., September 7, 1999
By Stephan M. Kenny (Ocean City, MD USA) - See all my reviews

Having little knowledge of the game and only playing it once I decided to do some searching on the game. This book teaches you how to play the game as well as tricks to the game. I found that I learned the game and the history. I found out why statistically I should bet a certain way as well as counting certain cards to better my chances. This book will help the novice as well as polish the expert through some more technical parts of the game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best book if you truly want to win at Baccarat, February 11, 2001
By Jeffrey (Warren, MI United States) - See all my reviews
I just want to say that John has a counting system in this book that is hard for the casino to beat. I have only been playing his system for about a week now and I am up about $1500 and I only started with about $200, I think with his system you can bet the casino over time, that is just my view, but I can tell you I have not been this lucky in all my life, I have been out to the casino 6 times and only lost once.

Thanks John :)

Jeff
