About the Author

Elena B. Haveles is a Pharmacy Education Coordinator at the Eastern Virginia Area Health Education Center and a Coordinator at the Eastern Virginia Regional Perinatal Coordinating Counsel-Office of Planning and Program Development. In addition, Ms. Haveles is an Adjunct Associate Professor of Pharmacology at the School of Dental Hygiene and Dental Assisting at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, VA. She is a member of the American College of Clinical Pharmacists, American Pharmaceutical Association, and the Virginia Society of Hospital Pharmacists.
