I bought this to help in our Bible study group, but I ended up just browsing it on a daily basis, so I guess you could say it makes a good reference book and a devotional guide too. The alphabetical arrangement of topics is great, and there is an index as well. The book uses a contemporary Bible translation that is easy to grasp. The author (or editor?) has provided some helpful commentary among the Bible verses. This would make a good gift book because they gave it a sturdy cover.

this book takes gods promises and puts them in an order that we may readly refer to as a help in our daily lives.this is truly a great help for any christian.
