I was hoping to find more adult crafts, more elaborate. This book is great for 10-15 year olds. My teenage girls enjoyed doing the crafts in this book. I will look for a more "Adult" craft book.

This book really whetted my appetite! My housework didn't get done the day this arrived! It wasn't so much for me the actual projects that appealed so much, but the new techniques and ideas that sprung from there. The burnt brown paper projects are deffinately some that I shall be trying and expanding on. A good read and source book.

I'm a big fan of Aleene and her daughters. One thing I appreciate is the way they recycle goofy little things that end up looking so beautiful. I agree that a lot of the crafts seem like childrens crafts, but they don't look that way when finished. I love this book. The techniques are great for any kind of craft you want to do. Simple, easy to follow directions.
