I purchased this book after only getting a few minutes to peruse it at the book store. It's even better than I remembered!

It has wonderful color photos with decorating ideas, themes, and a few recipes for each theme party. They have gorgeous photos of cakes, but no directions on how to decorate the cakes in the photos - so if you're looking for that feature, look elsewehere.

However, if you're pretty comfortable in the kitchen and with entertaining in general, this book is a gem. Especially when coming up with fresh ideas for children's parties with kid friendly food and fun.
