Wonderful book for tracking your weight loss plan., November 22, 1998
By A Customer
This little book is perfect for anyone on a diet. Any kind of diet. Whether it's for weight loss, or for those just looking to eat healthier. All succesful dieter's know the importance of a daily food diary. However, how many people save last month's information? It has a place to record everything important on a "diet". I am on a low-carb plan (Protein Power by Drs. Eades), but I have done several other types of diets, and all are recordable here. This book lets you record your daily intakes of foods, gives you "boxes" to check and record calories, fat, protein, carbohydrates, fiber, cholesterol and sodium. It has spaces for water consumption, exercise logs, and weight as well as a section for recording how you felt the day went by circling a happy face, medium face, or sad face. It lets you record daily, this way, when you find yourself not doing too well, you can go back in the book and look at days you did wonderful and compare. It is small enough to fit in most purses (approx 5x6). It has common foods listed in the back with their counts (carbs, protein, fat, calories, etc..) It has diet tips spaced throughout the book that are helpful. Overall, I recommend this book to anyone going on ANY diet or "way of eating". It will be an excellent resource of information to the "recorder" as well as to their Doctor should they be on a diet per their Doctor.

Deeply Disappointed, January 30, 2000
I just received my copy of "The Any Day Diet", and I was extremely disappointed. The book is smaller than most journals, and on the outside it looks pretty good, but when you open the book it's another story. There is hardly enough space to record what a person consumes per meal about 3 line each per breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the format looks like something my 7 year old created. I have seen way better food journals than this.

Diet Diary Review, January 11, 2000
By A Customer
This is a great little book if you are tired of all the diet fads, and really want to change your eating. The Diary allows you to insert goals, body measurements and things you would like to change or do better. There is a daily rating scale so you can rate how well you followed your plan. There is also a daily record of how much water you drink and when, what exercise you do and any vitamins you take. This is an EXCELLENT way to keep track of what you eat. There is a food index in the back of the book so you do not have to buy a separate calorie/fat counter if you do not want to. This book allows you to keep track of calories, fat, fiber, cholesterol, carbs and sodium. Those of you on low carb diets can even keep records! At the end of each week there is a weekly update, where you enter current weight, body measurements and how well you followed your plan and any changes you would like. GREAT BOOK--very worthwhile.
