From School Library Journal
Gr 2-4--Two pleasant and informative overviews that present the rich variety of cultures in these two countries by introducing a number of children and their ways of life. The texts flow smoothly from one child to the next and are accompanied by a wealth of clear, vibrant, color photographs. Because the material is of a general nature, these titles are more suitable as supplements for multicultural units rather than as primary resources for reports. The indexes are useful, but the pronunciation guides are surprisingly meager, leaving out a number of difficult-to-pronounce place names. Overall, these titles will enhance solid geography collections.
