5.0 out of 5 stars A must-have for elementary school teachers!, November 4, 1999
By A Customer
A wonderful collection of activities to promote conflict resolution skills in elementary school students - of the utmost importance in today's troubling society. Beth Teolis emphasizes that teachers have the power to make the difference in the lives of their students! The ready-to-use activities bring out the best in the entire classroom. The worksheets in this book have been a delightful and beneficial addition to my daily lesson plan. A must-have for all elementary school teachers!

4.0 out of 5 stars School Counselor, March 14, 2006

I'm pleased with the book for use as a School Counselor. I find it best with "higher" functioning students, who have some basic social skills, but even with other students, it's a great resource for lesson ideas. Some of the lessons just need to be adjusted a bit.

5.0 out of 5 stars Avoid Conflicts Before They Occur!, September 22, 2002
This is a great resource for anyone with children! There are always situations in our lives which can cause conflict. After purchasing this book, I found it to be a wonderful resource to help my children cope with these occasions. Day by day, with over 100 activites and projects, it teaches them (and adults) to recognize a conflict before it occurs, then shows them how to deal with it in a healthy manner. I feel that it will also help them learn the properties of management of their feelings, and their surroundings. Therefore, actually getting them ready to be in management positions later in life. This is a must have for any parent or teacher!
