This book is very entertaining and gives a very obvious encounter with the beliefs and practices of the old religion. Its reference to the old religion is still very basic since it does not go too deeply into the different aspects of Pan. It does however give the true importance of the balance of nature. Good for anyone in the study from Initiate up to adept to read.

It is a rare opportunity to get a chance to see behind the closed doors of an esoteric lodge. In this book by Dion fortune, we have just this chance. Although couched in the form of entertaining fiction, The Adept Dion Fortune gives us insight into the Greater Mysteries of Initiation.
