5.0 out of 5 stars Great introduction to Charleston visit, June 28, 2007
By Lindy (Birmingham, AL United States) - See all my reviews
This is a great book for school aged children to read before a visit to Charleston, SC, especially if they will be visiting the Old Provost Dungeon. It was first published in 1973, so it refers to an iconic bridge that no longer exists-"When they came down from the giant roller coaster of the soaring bridge". It saddened me that my child was too young when she experienced that bridge to remember it.
