3.0 out of 5 stars Good content but not the information the title suggests, July 29, 1998
By A Customer
The book is titled Chevrolet Pickup Color History, but is just really a collection of color pictures of the various years. I was looking for specific colors for each model year including color samples of exteriors, interiors and engine components. Perhaps a better (or any) description of what the book actually contains on line would have helped with the confusion. I think the title is very misleading. The contents of the book were good if one was just looking for some color pictures and some good general info about certain model years. I am returning the book.

4.0 out of 5 stars An excellent compilation of Chevrolet Truck History., October 25, 1998
By A Customer
This is a great book for any truck hobbyist, no matter their knowledge bases. The book contains stunning photos of classic trucks in rural settings. While billed as a history of Chevrolet Trucks from 1919 to 1994, the bulk of the information is on the earlier years. 3/4 of the books is dedicated to 1972 and earlier Chevy and GMC trucks. If your a GMC fan there is some information pertaining to GMC, but you might be disappointed if your looking for a comprehensive informational on GMC trucks. All in all it's great reading and it has a good format. Very informative. This is definitely one for your library.

4.0 out of 5 stars Informative, April 4, 2009
The book tells a lot and has some nice pictures, it just didn't have a lot of the body style we were hoping it did (1940).
