1.0 out of 5 stars Boring, October 6, 2003
By A Customer
Despite having some nice photos (all of which have been previsouly published elsewhere), this book is basically useless if you are in search of information on the X-Planes. Exactly how anybody could make such an exciting subject boring is beyond me. I should not have been surprised given the author's track record with earlier books. If you want a good book on the X-Planes, get the book by Jay Miller. This one is simply not worth the money.

5.0 out of 5 stars It's like being there!, May 19, 2000

I've loved airplanes for years. Especially the X-planes. Pace's all-color book about the X-planes at Edwards was a great buy for me. Very informative and the pictures look like they're real.
