Product Description
"Wanna Bet?"

The three adventure-seeking sons of Caramon Majere lose a bet to a flamboyant, magnificently bearded dwarf, and wake up, shanghaied, on an incredible gnomish sailing vessel questing after the legendary Graygem.

Who is the mysterious Dougan Redhammer, and what perils are in store for Sturm, Tanin, and Palin, the young mage haunted by the legacy of Raistlin?

In nine short stories by superlative writers, the companions confront wizards and dragons, magical spectacles and daggers possessed, and survive memorable encounters with the minor races of Krynn.

Plus, a rolicking new novella by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman chronicling the outrageous fortunes of the next generation of heroes.

The Dragonlance Saga, with three million copies sold, continues!

4.0 out of 5 stars Very Funny book, July 3, 2000
By M. Vega (Portland, Oregon United States) - See all my reviews
All I can say is that the book was great. The majority of the storys were extremly funny, and the others wern't meant to be. Some were Inspirational, especially the first story were Tasslehoff Burrfoot has to save his comrades whom are lost in the snow. Margaret Weis, and Tracy Hickman are my two favorite writers. The only downfall to this book is that one, or two of the storys are boring, and slow. But, that is made up by the other great stories in the book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Gnomes...and more, January 11, 1999
By A Customer
This book was perhaps one of the best Dragonlance books not written by Margret Weis and Tracy Hickman. It gives a ton of great information, varying from humorous anecedotes that cause a person to simply smile at the small things in life, to deep, moving tales of that ignite some inner flame to stories of high adventure. It was nice to see stories written, for once, that has truly good kender, gnomish, and gully dwarf heroes. However, it should be noted that one tale involves a minotaur, and was very good too. All in all I would say it was a great book, giving a lot of information on Mount Nevermind that has not been seen since 1987 (Gnomes-100, Dragons-0). A must have!

3.0 out of 5 stars Well...., October 26, 2001
By Andy. Gillum (indian mound, tn) - See all my reviews
I have to give all the short story novels 3 stars. There are some stories you won't like but they'll 2-4 really great ones that will make the books worth the price.

4.0 out of 5 stars Altogether good book
This was a fine compilation of tales, with stories that though made no big impact on the history of the series, were interesting and in themselves nice diversions from life... Read more

5.0 out of 5 stars The name IS deseptive, but it's still a great book
So, OK, the name has little to do with the stories involved, but why should that stop you? Charming little stories, with a little humor.

2.0 out of 5 stars Not close to funny
Kender, Gnomes, and Gully Dwarves had nothing to do with the hilarious creatures of Krynn. Most tales don't have a kender in them. Read more

4.0 out of 5 stars Good anthology, a bit lacking
Lots of heroic deeds and such... how could this not be a good story? Well, it's not very realistic. The anthologies involve every day people becoming heroes. Read more
