This is a great reference for kids, it is really up to date and it really helps for history and social homework. My kid has bought all of the World Almanac's For kids since 2000, and she loves this new one. Since she is really interested in astrology and astronomy, this is the perfect ref. book for her, and the whole book is easy for kids to understand, there is hardly any hard vocabulary, even if there is, they would explain the word like a dictionary. I really recommend this Almanac for your kids, I guarentee they'll find it interesting!

I ordered this book for my 11-year-old daughter and when I received it, I had to flip through the whole thing immediately! It is colorful and fun, while educating the reader on important facts!! I came back to Amazon.com to order another one for a Christmas gift!!

I love this book! It is a great reference book for kids of all ages and is packed full of interesting information on just about every topic you can think of. We previously had purchased the 2000 edition of this book and my kids have used it countless times since then for everything from school to scouts. We are excited to have the new one - it is current and up to date and we are all enjoying reading it. This is a wonderful almanac to own.
