3.0 out of 5 stars Too radical for my taste, February 6, 2009

I'm sure you would be eating healthier if you followed the instructions of this book, but it is such a departure from the usual eating habits of a middle aged midwesterner that I don't think I could stick with their suggestions. I've never even heard of some of the food they are saying I should be eating. I may be able to use some of the recipes to make some healthy meals, but I could never fully follow this book completely.

4.0 out of 5 stars A Cookbook for all Seasons, August 13, 2008
This book is a companion to "Staying Healthy with the Seasons". It has some great recipes for people interested in eating healthy. Some ingredients, like Miso, may not be readily available but can be found in the Oriental section of many larger food stores or in Asian markets.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great Recipes, February 8, 2008

I love this book. Great recipes. Remember you can always substitute if a recipe contains something you just hate, but I suggest you try it the way it was written and see before making changes. You might just find that you like it.
