This is a masterpiece introductory course in esoteric astrology,inspired by Alan Oken's studies and intellectual excursions into the works of Alice Bailey and the Theosophical Society and propelled by his tremendous inspiration and excellent writing abilities.Esoteric astrology is the emerging paradigm,operating with expanded symbols of consciousness and its purpose is to be a reliable road-map for one's spiritual evolution.While in classical Western astrology the sun sign,moon sign,and rising sign are the three most important parameters in defining the personality of a subject-in that order,esoteric astrology reverses the order,with the rising sign as the revealer of the soul's purpose,the sun sign as the sign of probabilities,and the moon sign as the karmic accumulations in need to be discarded.Using concepts such as the fixed or the cardinal cross,and a reworking of the meanings of the planets in the houses,more in accord with our need to evolve towards the dictates of our own souls,this is a very generous,empowering,and soul-affirming book,so that when the soul is fully realized,it can depart and then be replaced by the Spirit...
