5.0 out of 5 stars A great source of information!, August 5, 1999
By A Customer
The Pierce Piano Atlas provides a fantastic source of information about manufacturers and the dates pianos were built. Our web site, PianoWorld.com is dedicated to providing information about pianos. We often refer to this book to find the answers our visitors are looking for. Although there are other books that provide this type of information, none seem as complete as the Pierce Atlas.

5.0 out of 5 stars Still the Best Source for Piano Ages, March 21, 2009
By Frank Baxter "PianoWorld.com" (Pompano Beach, FL United States) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
The Pierce Piano Atlas has been a trusted source for the piano industry and the public for many years now. It is still the best single source when you want to know how old a piano is.

With over 12,000 piano manufacturers represented it is the book to turn to when trying to uncover the date a piano was built. The latest (12th) edition also has lots of interesting tidbits about the piano and the piano industry.

If you are in the piano business, or are an enthusiast, this is a great book to add to your library.
