5.0 out of 5 stars All you'll need to pass, April 4, 2001
By "bill_farrell" (San Carlos, CA United States) - See all my reviews
This refresher provides a thorough and well-paced overview of everything learned in mechanical engineering undergrad courses. Beyond that, however, it presents other disciplines (esp. chemistry and electricity) in a much more condensed and easily understood format than anything in school.

The book is organized using the same subject outline as the NCEE reference book (the only reference allowed during the NCEE FE exam), greatly simplifying recall and retrieval. The practice problems closely mirror the exam, and most importantly (in contrast to multiple textbooks you might use), the nomenclature, variables, and definitions are the same. Use this book and you will NOT be surprised or unprepared when you take the FE!

5.0 out of 5 stars Very nice hand book for FE license candidate, May 7, 2000
By HT (Tokyo) - See all my reviews
This book is the best book for FE candidate, I ever read and provides a general review of undergraduate math and engineering for graduate engineers preparing to take the FE examination or seeking to refresh and update their skills.

5.0 out of 5 stars A manual worth having now and later, April 3, 2004
By A Customer
I consider this manual a very good source of help not only for the FE/EIT exam, but also for future engineering related tasks. I would definitely recommend this manual to anyone interested in the field of math and science.

3.0 out of 5 stars Good Reference
Not a bad book. Some explanations are too short and will leave you looking through countless other books, and thus wasting time. It's not perfect, but it's a decent start.
