Editorial Reviews

Review

Marijuana Law gives us the legal armaments with which to resist unfair police methods. [Boires] book contains the most important things about marijuana law that a user must know. (J. Tony Serra, Attorney at Law)

Perhaps the greatest thing about this book is the fact that Ive never seen it for sale in any bookstore or catalog. There is no question that this is the definitive work on the subject. There are ten chapters which include drug testing at work, what to do if you are arrested, choosing a defense attorney, search warrants and chapters on differences if marijuana is found in your car, home or garden. With over 400,000 people arrested for possession each year, this is a badly needed book. Highly recommended whether you actually smoke the stuff or not. -- Netta Gilboa-Editor, Gray Areas Magazine

5.0 out of 5 stars A great guide book to the laws concerning marijuana, March 9, 1999
By A Customer
This book is completely necessary in today's world. Because propaganda and ignorance still prevail, any legalization of this God-sent drug probably won't happen in the near future. This book tells you what you need to know in order to privately use marijuana and...not get caught! It tells you the rights that you do and do not have concerning search and seizure, police conduct, drug tests, etc., etc. This is a must have!

5.0 out of 5 stars A wonderfully written guide to the law!, November 17, 1997
By A Customer
This book was wonderfully written. It is divided into accessible chapters so you can read any chapter without missing the point. I recommend this book to anyone who is interested in the law, especially those who use drugs or would like to know their rights.

3.0 out of 5 stars Out of date but a reference., December 2, 2004
This book it out of date if you look at it. The first few pages I browsed through said it was illegal to have marijuana in all states. I'm thinking, "You forget that if you have it for medical purposes it's legal." I decide to check out the date of this book and it is 1996. A lot of stuff has changed since then. Not too great but things have changed. I would look at this book to see an old perspective of how martijuana is viewed and can still be viewed today in some aspects.
