Editorial Reviews
Cleveland Jewish News, September 6, 1996
Your preschool children can learn a little bit about the Sabbath and a lot about counting from one to ten. The counting book with a Jewish twist uses brother Donny's and sister Dina's weekly preparation for Shabbat to familiarize children with numbers. From one silver kiddush cup to 10 napkins the siblings count the special objects they use to set the dining room table for the festive meal.
Colorful illustrations of the children and the objects for the table, as well as large numerals in bold colors, are attractive to look at. Short rhymes make the objects and numbers easier for small children to remember.
A glossary at the end of the book translates Hebrew words used in the story, and a chart repeats the numbers lesson.
Next erev Shabbat, let your children count along with Donny and Dina!

Jewish World News, October 1996
If you want to teach numbers to your two to five year olds and make it Jewish, this is the book for you. ...
There are rhymes and colorful illustrations throughout the book and the book would make a lovely gift for any preschool child.
